Australia’s only specialised wild cat sanctuary
Nestled in the Hawkesbury valley, just an hour’s journey northwest of Sydney, our centre is an oasis for conservation efforts focused on saving endangered wild cat species. Home to the largest cheetah habitat in Australia and the only place breeding and rewilding these magnificent cats back to Africa!
Established in 2016 under the visionary leadership of Director Ben Britton, the Wild Cat Conservation Centre stands proudly in Wilberforce, Australia, as a pioneering force in understanding and protecting smaller wild cat species.

Cheetah, Clouded leopard, servals, caracals and fishing cat call our centre home!
Not a zoo or wildlife park, we provide an environment for our cats to be the species they were born to be, to have choice and agency over their own lives.
A cheetah has to be able to run, a serval leap through love grass, a clouded leopard climb. Our sanctuary creates a wild like state where all this and more is possible!

Fantastic experience! We highly recommend this tour for anyone that loves wildcats and wants to put their money towards a great cause into the education and conservation of cheetahs and other endangered species. We loved it. We’ll be back.

Absolutely fantastic experience. We have done the Cheetah run and the Twilight tour and can highly recommend both.

An amazing day in beautiful surroundings. A wonderful place with conservation at its core. It’s a pleasure to pay to help support an amazing cause. The animals are clearly loved and well cared for, and the incredible landscaping is an added bonus. Would highly recommend.
